Bernice Merritt Box
This pine hand-dovetailed box, with a fine brass English lock, is a copy of a box that was discovered 30 years ago in the possession of an elderly lady in Rochester, New York. It is circa very early 19th century. The stenciling is extremely high end. The box was probably a one of a kind piece to commemorate a special occasion. Each of the five box sides displays a completely different design. Over 100 stencils were required to complete the bronze powder designs. Approximate size: 10 x 16 x 8 inches high.
Wine Coaster
This late 18th century design is made in the traditional way by a Vermont tinsmith known as “Tinker Bob” and decorated by us with etched 23K gold leaf designs. It has a cork lined bottom and was used to hold a wine decanter (not included). Size: 5 ¸ by 2 inches.

Original antique French fashion print dated 1849. The print is in excellent condition. The new frame is pine veneered with bird’s eye maple and crotch mahogany. This frame is similar to other 19th century frames found in upstate New York. Approximate frame size: 16 by 19 inches.
